Opium is one of our signature scents: a French bar soap with warm, exotic essential oils from Grasse that develop on skin through the day, never overpowering, always confident. A bar with serious presence, equally at home in a man's shower or any luxury bath ritual.
Like all our French milled bar soaps, it is triple-milled in Provence: the soap is milled three times, then pressed into a dense bar that lasts 4 to 6 weeks of daily use.

We want you to love your Averal Provence soaps. If something isn't right, here's how we'll make it right.

You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return.
CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS
Because our soaps are personal care products, all returned items must be unused and in their original condition — unopened, sealed, and in their original packaging. For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept opened or used soaps, gift sets with any bar unwrapped, or items returned without their original packaging.
Items that arrive opened or used are not eligible for a refund. For hygiene reasons we are unable to mail these items back, and they will be discarded.
RETURN SHIPPING
The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend a trackable service, as we cannot issue a refund for a return we do not receive. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, we cover it completely — at no cost to you. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@averalprovence.com with your order number and a photo of the item and packaging. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping. You will not be asked to pay the cost of return shipping in these cases.

The Opium soap is long lasting. My guess is that this scent is based on a perfume. I can’t imagine real opium being this fragrant. I love all of the text molded into the soap! These would be lovely to give.
